Hey there! I'm Avery, and I want to share what’s been going on in my dance class as we get ready for the Nutcracker performance!
Our teacher, Ms. DC, is really great. She makes every class fun, and we’re learning so much about ballet. We’re practicing hard for the Nutcracker, and I can’t wait for the show!
I have a few costumes for the performance. One is a maid costume, which is really cute, and I also have a mouse costume that’s super fun to wear. My favorite is the red and gold Arabian costume—it's so colorful and shiny! I love getting to wear different costumes and pretending to be all these characters.
We have rehearsals during our classes throughout the week, which keeps us busy. It can be a little nerve-wracking, but I enjoy working with my friends to learn the dances.
